SPORTS PR SUMMIT & NEWHOUSE SCHOOL AT SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCE NEW PARTNERSHIP

New York City, NY (February 16, 2022) – The Sports PR Summit (@SportsPRSummit), an invite-only event that brings together senior PR and digital media executives, sports reporters, and professional athletes for dynamic panels and conversations, announced today that Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications (@NewhouseSU) will be its Official Academic Partner.

Through this partnership, the school’s Sports Media Center (@NewhouseSports) will provide logistical and strategic support for the Sports PR Summit both during the annual event as well as throughout the year. This will include event execution, planning, and assistance with various communication tasks. Students will also help to grow the Summit’s content creation through various channels, continuing the Summit’s established reputation as a national thought leader in the industry.

Sports PR Summit and the Newhouse Sports Media Center will also launch the Sports PR Summit Awards in 2022. The awards will honor excellence in the Sports PR industry. Award categories will be announced at a future date. Winners will be announced at the annual Sports PR Summit event in New York City.

The 2022 Sports PR Summit, will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Canoe Studios in New York City.
